When I transferred over to this new website, my goal was to post three times per week. I had hoped it would be Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, but I figured I would be vague and just say three days. I could do three days. Apparently I was wrong and I’m sorry for that.
I was pre-writing my posts and everything so I wasn’t scrambling on posting days, but I just could keep up with it. I took a little bit of time off from writing when I first sent Release to my editor, but I had a lot of work to do for the upcoming blog tour, so some days I was spending six hours writing guest posts, interviews, and one bad ass short story you will not want to miss! This will surely be an incredible book blog tour. I can’t tell you how excited I am about it.
Earlier this week I received Release back from my editor and I didn’t get a chance to work on it much this weekend since I had family visiting, but I got back into it today and I’m about twenty percent through the edits now. The first part was the most difficult, and now I think I have that ready. There is still plenty to be done, but that first portion needed some major cleaning, so hopefully my editor will approve. I’m definitely on target for the publication date of December 10th and I truly hope everyone loves this book. This story means something a little more to me than the others as it gears up for the finale of book 4. I can’t believe it’s all going to end.
Anyways, this is a short ramble, but I wanted to post something so you all didn’t think I had vanished. I’m still here, plugging away as much as I can on edits, and I have given myself until Wednesday night to have this back to editor one for approval. If all goes well, this weekend it’ll be going to editor two, and we’ll be off to the races.
