Inspiration & Human Courtesy

Working somewhat hard today, I decided to enjoy my lunch break by spending a little bit of time on Twitter. Two of the people I followed retweet two links. I clicked them both, read and watched them in their entirety, and I was amazed by them. I want to take up a post today to share them with you. Neither are extremely long, so I do hope you’ll check them out.

The first is an article about writing, but I think we can take something away from it in general about Human Courtesy. Ophelias Webb posted “Being A Word Nerd Does Not Establish Your Credibility. This post had me smiling, and nodding my head the entire way. You MUST read it.

The second is an interesting post about writing, but again, there is more to be taken away from it. Author Tonya Kappes has hit the nail right on the head about how to get it done…if you want it bad enough. What really got me though, was the video she attached. Go check out her blog, read it, and then watch the video. the video is only 5 1/2 minutes long, and if you’ve ever wanted something before, you need to watch it. It’s amazing, inspirational, and had the adrenaline pumping through my veins. It’s title “How Bad Do You Want It” speaks volumes about anything you want to achieve in life.

If you take the time to check them out, I hope you enjoy them. I took something major away from both sites and I have a feeling that you will too.
