Yes, I’ve been slacking on the blog, but don’t worry, I’ve been slacking in all aspects of work.

I was supposed to read SHIFT a few weeks ago, but instead, I just read a few pages every once in a while. I’ve finally kicked myself back into work mode and got about 70% of the way through. Hopefully I’ll have it done by the end of the week. I’ve also been making a mountain of notes as I go, there is a lot more I want to add.

The truth is, I have trouble reading my own work. I know it’s a necessary evil, but I dislike it beyond how words can describe. I think the fact it took me 3 weeks to read a book I’m super stoked about proves that. I enjoy the story while I’m reading it, but forcing myself to sit down and just read, without making any changes at all is challenging.

I promise I am trying to get back on track and get into editing mode, which is coming up next.

As for my lack of blog posts…well I just don’t have anything that interesting to say. If I was prepared to post here everyday, you’d see a lot of random talk. Mostly about cereal, sometimes about how angry I get at video games…but mostly cereal.

Lately, EXILED has been gaining even more incredible reviews. If you haven’t check out the review page, you must, they really are incredible. Oh, and the  EXILED poems, they’re still there. Don’t ask me why, I was supposed to take them down forever ago, but I didn’t. Go figure. So read them. They’re fun. Sometimes…err, kinda.

As for SHIFT, as far as I can tell, there is something really solid here. I have additions to make, but not a lot of restructuring (I don’t think. Beta’s are coming, that could change). I am however, really, really, really excited for you to read it. Yes you. You will love it!

And you! Yeah, the one who has yet to read EXILED. I know who you are, and I’m not happy with you. *Glares*

P.S. If you live outside of Canada and have access to Fruity and/or Cocoa Pebbles, I would like you to send me some immediately. That is all.
