Just a quick post to say I haven’t exactly been ignoring the blog, but I’m nearly done reviewing the final draft of Exiled so I’ve been busy reading and putting a few finishing touches on the book.
Idea’s for book 3 have been swirling inside me lately and I’ve had to start a file just for them. I’d love to start writing it already, but alas, Shift isn’t going to edit itself.
One thing I’ve learned throughout this entire process is that you can’t let other idea’s stop your current project, but you don’t want to throw those idea’s away either. For me, I have folders full of random ideas that pop into my head.
There’s also been a new series pushing at the back of my mind for nearly a year now. I think I’ve worked out most of the details, but I have yet to publish my first book, let alone start a new series. Sometimes you have to just take what you can from the new ideas that appear, and get back to what your working on. If you don’t, you might end up starting a lot of projects, and never finishing any of them.
